After a brief overview of the itinerary and program, kick off your tour with a visit to a traditional micro-brewery.
Hidden amidst the picturesque Alsace vineyards, this enchanting micro-brewery has been crafting local beers since 1998. Immerse yourself in the tranquil ambiance of the biergarten as you sample their unique brews. Depending on the day of your visit, you may even have the opportunity to explore the brewery itself, followed by a specially organized tasting experience for you and your party.
Explore Charming Alsace Villages and Sample Artisan Brews
The tour also presents a chance to discover the captivating villages of the Alsace region. Begin in Riquewihr, where you'll enjoy a guided tour and ample time for personal exploration. Continue to Kaysersberg, another authentic Alsace village adorned with timbered houses and cobblestone streets. Here, you can savor a delicious lunch at your leisure (optional).
In the afternoon, venture into the Welche district and visit a traditional Artisan Brewery, now a part of the Eaux de Vie museum. The de Miscault family, in collaboration with master brewer Joel Tournier, has taken the helm of production. This brewery produces three distinct versions of local beer—blonde, amber, and white—using organic malt. Additionally, the brewery's residues are repurposed as feed for a local farmer's cows, exemplifying their commitment to sustainability. Enjoy a captivating tour and tasting at the brewery, and don't miss the opportunity to explore the Brandy museum located nearby.

What type of vehicles are used during a day trip from Colmar?
Our company uses only premium cars & minivans that can take up to a maximum of 8 passengers. All vehicles are new or recent, comfortable, spacious and have A/C. For larger groups, you will need to contact us directly. -
Who conducts these Alsace private day trips from Colmar?
All our tours are conducted by English speaking guides that are also, in most cases, the driver. For a more personalized experience, we can also organize any private tour with both driver and guide.
For all our private wine tours in France, local guides are all experts in wines and hold wine diplomas or are professional sommeliers. Most of our in house guides hold at least the WSET level 2 in wines. -
Is the price per person or per group?
All our private tours are priced per group of 2 to maximum 8 passengers. -
Is lunch included on this full day trip from Colmar?
No, we never include lunch on our private tours. However, let us know if you would like us to suggest and pre-book a local restaurant reservation. Our team will be happy to organize this for you at no extra cost. You can also talk with your guide directly in the morning. Let him know your wishes and she/he will adapt the tour accordingly and suggest the best possible options. -
