Since opening its doors to the public on 10th August 1793, the Louvre Museum has been a symbol of the wealth, power, and decadence of the French monarchy for over 600 years. From its origins as a medieval fortress, to a Renaissance palace and luxurious home to Kings and Emperors, the Louvre has transformed into an extraordinary French institution.
Led by our knowledgeable guide, you'll explore the galleries of the Louvre and learn about the changing face of this iconic institution through its architecture and design. Admire masterpieces from renowned artists such as David, Géricault, Delacroix, and the legendary Leonardo da Vinci. Marvel at the iconic glass pyramid and witness the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Mona Lisa, painted by da Vinci at the beginning of the 16th century.
As part of a very small group of maximum 6 persons, you'll avoid the crowds and get an up-close and personal look at the Louvre's most famous artworks. And once the tour is over, you'll have the option to spend more time in the museum to explore other sections independently.

In just one day, discover the Palace of Versailles, the residence of the 'Sun King' and the former home of Claude Monet, 'Prince of the Impressionists.' Join our expert guide and small group of up to 16 people at the meeting point close to the Eiffel Tower. After a 1-hour journey to Giverny in an air-conditioned minibus, you will first visit the idyllic home of Claude Monet on the edge of Normandy.
Visit Claude Monet's House & Gardens in Giverny
The leader of the Impressionist School lived here from 1883 to 1926, and the colorful decor and pink brick facade are an intimate reminder of its former life. The Claude Monet Foundation has completed significant restoration work on the property at Giverny, which was left by Monet's son to the Académie des Beaux-arts in 1966 and inaugurated in 1980. The gardens have been replanted as they once were and offer visitors the "painting from nature" that Claude Monet's contemporaries considered to be one of his masterpieces.
Enjoy lunch at Moulin des Fourgues restaurant
Next, enjoy a fabulous 3-course lunch at the "Moulin de Fourges" restaurant, a 200-year-old mill. The architecture of this listed site, dating back to the 18th century, draws its inspiration from the hamlet of Marie-Antoinette at Versailles. It offers a unique setting with its rural grounds and spacious terrace on the banks of the Epte.
Visit the Palace of Versailles
In the afternoon, we will take you back to the Golden Age of France with a visit to the Palace of Versailles. The chateau and gardens count among the most prestigious monuments of the world's artistic heritage and are certainly the finest and most complete achievement of 17th-century French art. This sumptuous royal palace was home to three of France's most illustrious kings for over 100 years, and the audio-guided tour includes the State Apartments of the King and Queen, Royal Chapel and Hall of Mirrors, a richly decorated gallery which boasts 357 mirrors, French bay windows, and crystal chandeliers.
At the end of your visit, there is free time to discover the famous gardens à la française, a 2,000-acre park designed by André le Notre with its magnificent groves, statues, and fountains.
