Before being the world renowned brandy that most of us have heard about, Cognac is in fact a mid-size town located in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of France, in the Charentes department at about a 1 hour and 45 minutes drive North of Bordeaux. -
How do you get from Paris to Cognac?
The easiest way to reach Cognac from Paris is to take the TGV fast train at Montparnasse train station and stop in Angoulême. From there, you will need to board a connecting train that will take you to Cognac. If you have the right connection, your journey will be of approximately 4 hours. If you are traveling with a car, then your route will take you on the A10 highway until you reach the town of Saintes and then on to the National Road N141 to Cognac. -
