Day 1: Arrival and a Fun City Challenge

The first day was all about getting to know each other and settling into the city. As the teams arrived from their various regions, excitement filled the air. That evening, we kicked off the seminar with an engaging city scavenger hunt. Divided into teams, we ventured through the charming streets of Strasbourg’s historic center, discovering hidden gems and learning more about the city’s rich history. The friendly competition was a great way to bond and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of Strasbourg.

Day 2: Presentations and Insights

On Tuesday, Day 2 of the seminar was dedicated to presentations from our department heads, who shared insights about their activities and gave an overview of how the office operates. This gave our guides a deeper understanding of the internal workings of Ophorus, strengthening the connection between our office team and guides from all regions.

Christophe, the founder of Ophorus, shared an exciting update on the company’s performance, including key statistics, strategic goals, and what’s new for the 2025 season. The presentation was both inspiring and informative, setting the stage for a successful year ahead.

That evening, we continued the fun with a lively Blind Test game in teams, testing our knowledge of music and enjoying a little friendly competition in a relaxed atmosphere.

Day 3: Discovering the Region

On the third day, it was time for a deeper exploration of the Alsace region. We set out on a memorable day tour, visiting the charming town of Colmar, the picturesque village of Riquewihr, and the beautiful vineyards and landscapes of the Alsace wine route. This tour allowed everyone to experience the beauty and culture of Alsace firsthand, giving our team fresh ideas and inspiration to share with our future guests. Day 4: Strasbourg’s Hidden Gems and Departure

The final day of the seminar began with a cultural discovery of Strasbourg’s magnificent Cathedral. We were all in awe of its breathtaking architecture and rich history. Next, we visited the Hospices de Strasbourg, a remarkable historical site that also houses a wine cellar—an interesting nod to the region’s wine culture. It was a fitting end to our four-day seminar, combining both culture and the wine expertise that makes Alsace so special.

In the afternoon, it was time for everyone to return to their respective regions, but not before taking with them new ideas, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of purpose for the upcoming season.
