Star of the Christmas markets, the mulled wine is our little winter pleasure ! Vary the pleasures around this drink thanks to our selection of 5 original recipes.

Alcohol-free mulled wine recipe

Practical information

  • Level of difficulty: very easy

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 liter of grape juice
  • 80 grams of sugar
  • 1 organic orange
  • 1 organic lemon
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 stars anise 

                                                                                                        

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash and dry the orange and lemon.

Cut them into rounds.

Put the citrus fruits in a saucepan with the grape juice, sugar and spices.

Bring to a simmer, cover, remove from heat and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.

Strain and serve hot in large cups.

Enjoy your drink !

 

Hot cider recipe with vanilla and spices

  • Preparation time : 10 minutes     
  • Cooking time : 15 to 20 minutes                                                                           
  • Level of difficulty : easy

 

ingredients

  • 1 liter of apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 star anise 
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • Zest of an organic orange
  • 2-3 tablespoons of sugar

 

instructions

Pour all the ingredients into a saucepan (split the vanilla in two and scrape out the seeds).
Heat over low-medium heat without boiling. Leave to infuse for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from heat, filter to remove spices.
Serve immediately and enjoy !

 

Hot spiced Spritz recipe

  • Cooking time : 10 minutes
  • Level of difficulty : easy

 

ingredients

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 star anise
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Aperol
  • 1/2 cup Prosecco
  • Orange zest for garnish

 

instructions

Heat the water in a saucepan with the spices.                                                                       

Bring to the boil then reduce the heat and let the syrup infuse for 10 minutes.                         

Then remove from heat and filter.
Add the orange juice, Aperol and Prosecco to the pan and heat gently again without boiling. Remove from heat, pour into glasses.                                                                             

Decorate with orange zest and enjoy !

 

 

Whiskey Christmas Punch Recipe

  • Soaking time : 1 hour                                                                       
  • Level of difficulty : easy

 

Ingredients

  • 75 cl of Irish whiskey
  • 75 cl of black tea
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 25 cl of pressed clementine juice
  • 25 cl of squeezed lemon juice
  • 25 cl of Suze (gentian liqueur)
  • 2 organic clementines
  • 2 organic lemons
  • 3 stars anise
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 2 cloves

 

instructions 

Wash the clementines and lemons.

Grate the zest and keep the rest.

In a large punch bowl, mix it with the sugar and mix everything together.

Leave to macerate for 1 hour.

After this time, add the clementine juice, lemon juice, black tea, whiskey, Suze, spices and sugar to the citrus fruits.

Bring to a simmer, remove from heat and leave to cool.

Refrigerate until ready to serve with ice cubes, clementines and quartered lemons.

Enjoy your drink !

Hot Caramel Cider Recipe

ingredients

  • 30 cl tablespoon of sweet cider
  • 20 cl of whole milk
  • 2 tbsp. coffee dulce milk jam
  • 2 tbsp. teaspoon of caramel syrup + 1 drizzle for decoration
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon of whipped cream
  • 1/2 tsp. teaspoon cinnamon

 

instructions 

Heat the cider and milk over low heat, stirring frequently. Add the cinnamon, milk jam and caramel, stir well.

Once the mixture is hot, remove from heat and pour into cups. Place the cream on top, decorate with a drizzle of caramel and serve immediately.
