Honey and Cinnamon Christmas Cookies
OUR HONEY & CINNAMON CHRISTMAS COOKIES RECIPES

2. Ingredients
- 400g flour200g caster sugar
- 200g icing sugar
- 150g butter
- 125g runny honey
- 100g cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 4 tbsp. milk
- 3 drops of bitter almond flavoring
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 2-3 tbsp. lemon juice
3. Instructions
Preheat the oven and line the baking sheet with baking paper. In a saucepan, mix the honey, sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and milk.
Heat on low until the honey and sugar are completely dissolved. Pour the mixture into a container and let cool.
Incorporate the almost cold mixture, the aroma and the cinnamon. Use an electric mixer at high speed.
In a container, sift and mix the flour, cocoa, cornstarch and baking powder. Add 2/3 of this mixture to the previous preparation and work at medium speed.
On a floured work surface, knead the dough by hand, integrating the rest of the flour-cocoa-starch mixture. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5mm.
Cut out shapes with cookie cutters and place them on the baking sheet. Place in the oven and cook each batch for approx. 10 to 15 mins. Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool.
Sift the icing sugar, then mix it with the lemon juice until you obtain a thick glaze. Pour the frosting into a piping bag and draw the designs of your choice on the cupcakes. Let take.
