Depart for an exciting full-day tour to one of the most famous wine-producing regions departing from Marseille. On this wine tasting day trip to discover Provence and its wines, depending on the day you travel, we will take you to a surrounding wine-producing area. First, meet your Expert Wine Guide at a centrally located meeting point in Marseille who will go over the itinerary and program of the day. Then, board your comfortable A/C minivan and begin your full-day tour. Below are the three destinations that we offer and your Provence wine tour destination will depend on the day of travel.

Depart for the vineyards located around Aix en Provence the city that is known to be one of the most beautiful in the area. Along the way, we will stop for a short walk in the vineyards to learn about the soil, what is going on in the vines, pruning methods and a bit about organic production. During the driving time, your guide will explain the different types of wines that are produced in the area as well as indicate some of the most famous grape varieties that are used in the winemaking process, such as Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault. We will stop to visit carefully selected wineries with amazing cellars while learning about the winemaking process and aging-potential wines. After the tasting, you will have some time for lunch in Aix en Provence. After lunch, we will take you to 2 other wineries so that you can compare the different wines of the region and taste the full range of wines produced in the area.

Depart for the Bandol and Cassis wine regions. Here, not only will you be amazed by the great wines that are produced in the area, but it is also a region where the landscapes are of great beauty. Located between the creeks, locally known as Calanques, and the Cap Canaille the confidential wine-producing area of Cassis borders the Mediterranean sea. We will stop at carefully selected wineries to enjoy wine tasting sessions of the famous white wines of Cassis. For lunch, our stop will be in the small fishing village of Cassis where numerous restaurants await, serving delicious seafood paired with wine of course. After lunch, it will be time to head out to the Bandol wine-producing area. This appellation is famous for its red wines but also produces some very aromatic and fresh Provence Rosé wines. All in all, we will stop in 3 wineries throughout the day so that you may experience the best wines the Cassis & Bandol appellations have to offer.

This full-day wine tour from Marseille is dedicated to wines produced in the southern Luberon. Here the wines approach the Rhône Valley style wines that are wines that have character, especially when it comes to red wines. The Rosés produced here are also known to be some of the finest that can be found in Provence. Your day trip in Provence will be punctuated with visits to local wineries where you will participate in different wine tasting sessions. You will also have the chance to have some free time for lunch in one of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon: Lourmarin.
