9:30am: Depart and take a Picturesque drive along the Côte de Nuits

Our luxury Burgundy wine tour from Beaune will first take you on a scenic drive along the Champs-Elysées of Burgundy. While, in Paris, the Champs Elysées are deemed the be the most beautiful avenue in the world, in Burgundy it refers to a picturesque stretch of around 60 kilometers along which some of the best vineyards in France are located. You will notably pass through Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, and Vougeot. Our guide will take this opportunity to tell you all about growing grapes, harvesting them and processing them to make the best Pinot Noir in the world.

10:30am: Tour and wine tasting in a family domain

This stroll among the vineyards will lead you to a family-owned property where our Burgundy wine tour from Beaune will stop for a well-deserved tasting session. Learn how to make wine from authentic French winemakers and try to find out which flavours come out of each wine! At the end of the session, you will be able to buy your favorite wine to bring back home.

12:30pm: Lunch at leisure in Gevrey-Chambertin according to your guide’s recommendation

Our Burgundy wine tour will then bring you to the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, home to one of the most famous wine designations in the world and often dubbed as the Pinot Noir paradise. It is also where some of the most expensive wines in the world are born! Our guide will show you the best places to get some lunch, which will often come with a wine pairing.

Guided tour of the chateau of Vougeot

With a full belly, head to the Vougeot Castle to discover where one the best wines in the world was born: le Clos  Vougeot. The vineyard was founded in the 12th century by monks who originally built a wine farm. In the 16th century, the Renaissance castle that is still standing today was added to the existing buildings. Hop on a guided tour of the castle and the surrounding enclosed vineyard. Admire the preserved Cistercian cellar and soak up the history of this magnificent place.

4:00pm: Tour and wine tasting in a domain in Nuits-Saint-Georges

Finally, finish up your Burgundy wine tour from Beaune with a visit of a vineyard and wine-making facility in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Taste some Côte de Nuits wine and follow the process of wine-making from the grape to the bottle. You will be provided with an opportunity to buy some wine at the end of the tour.
