Depart for a full-day small group tour from the town of Aix en Provence to Cassis and Marseille. Discover the village of Cassis and the famous Cap Canaille followed by the city of Marseille and its famous Vieux port. Meet your English speaking driver/guide in a centrally located meeting point in Aix en Provence. There, your guide will go over the itinerary and program of the day. Board your comfortable A/C vehicle and begin your drive towards the lovely seaside village of Cassis.

Cassis village visit
Arrive in Cassis and discover this cute small fishing port as well as the Calanques listed by Unesco as a world heritage national park. The land & sea area is known for its white cliffs and turquoise water. Then reach the highest sea cliff in Europe that is named Cape Canaille where you will enjoy a stunning view over the bay. Enjoy some free time for personal discovery and lunch in the village, relax on the beach or board a motorboat for a highly recommended 45-minute cruise (tickets not included) to admire the natural beauty of the local creeks.

Marseille City Visit
Drive to Marseille and its famous old port. Take in panoramic views of the city and visit Notre Dame de la Garde basilica on a walking tour then enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. Follow your tour with the visit of Saint-Victor Abbey and the crypt which houses 4th-century marble sarcophagus. You will then have some free time for personal discovery including some time in the authentic quarter named Le Panier. You will also have some free time to discover the new museum of Marseille, the Mucem, the Villa Mediterrannée and finally reach Fort Saint John and the cathedral La Major (except on Tuesdays).
