Day 1 > Strasbourg Gourmet Walking Tour & Half Day Wine Tour

This morning, learn the secrets of making traditional Alsatian “tarte flambée” during a 45-minute baking workshop with an expert chef. This is a hands-on cookery lesson in a local “winstub” with group size limited to eight people. Finish the class by eating your own freshly baked flammekueche and wash it down with a glass of wine! It makes for the perfect self-made, local lunch. The price includes the cooking class; then you get to eat 1/2 a traditional flammekueche and 1/4 of a traditional sweet flammekueche. A drink is also included: 25cl beer (must be 18+), 1 soft drink or a small bottle of mineral water, or 1 glass of Alsace white wine.

After some free time for lunch, meet your guide for an afternoon wine tour. We will take you in the Obernai wine producing area where you will have the opportunity to visit and wine taste in 2 local wineries to learn about the typical Alsace white wines.

Day > 2 Pearls Of Alsace

Designed to give visitors the opportunity to discover the most relevant sights of the region, begin the tour with the visit of charming Colmar. From there, travel to the small villages that line the wine route before arriving in Riquewihr. After a walking tour and some free time for lunch, end the day with the visit of the mighty Haut Koenigsbourg Castle.

Day 3 > Baden Baden & Black Forest Full-Day Trip

On this day 3, leave Strasbourg and cross the Border into Southern Germany to visit one of the most beautiful regions of the area with your English speaking tour guide. Depart for the spa town of Baden Baden nestled at the foot of the Black Forest. The city has attracted royalty, the rich and celebrities over the centuries. Follow your guide and discover the numerous architectural splendors and magnificent villas that are lined along the Lichtentaler Allee.

After the visit of Baden Baden, arrive at pretty Mummelsee lake where you will have some free time for personal discovery and lunch. With a circumference of 800 m, a depth of 17 m and an elevation of 1,036 m, Mummelsee is the largest, deepest and highest of the seven cirque lakes. Here, you might want to try the local food such as the cured meats or the world-famous Black Forest cake that leaves nobody indifferent!

After lunch (not included in the price) your day tour will continue along the wine route of the Badischerweinstrasse. This wine route is the longest in Germany as it spans for more than 500 kilometers. Along the route, your guide will certainly make a few stops for great photo opportunities.

After the stop, return to Strasbourg.
