Program & Itinerary
Experience a poignant journey through the pages of history with our exclusive Normandy Beaches Tour. Departing from Paris in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus, you'll be accompanied by a knowledgeable driver-guide who will provide insightful commentary throughout the day.
Your first stop will be at "The Pointe du Hoc," a site etched in the annals of World War II history. Towering 90 feet above the English Channel, these cliffs were a critical stronghold between Omaha and Utah beaches. Imagine the bravery of the 225 Rangers who landed here on the fateful morning of June 6, 1944. Your guide will offer time for reflection, allowing you to absorb the profound significance of this iconic location.
Continuing your journey, you'll arrive at Omaha Beach, another pivotal landing site during the Normandy invasion. Feel the weight of history as you walk along the shores where countless soldiers fought valiantly for freedom.
Next on the itinerary is the Overlord Museum, an immersive experience that delves into the intricacies of the D-Day landings. Gain a deeper understanding of the strategic planning and execution that unfolded on this historic day.
The tour reaches its emotional peak at the Colleville sur Mer American Cemetery, overlooking Omaha Beach. Covering a vast 170 acres, the cemetery is a solemn tribute to the 9,000 brave souls laid to rest beneath perfectly aligned white crosses. The memorial chapel stands as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made during this tumultuous time. Take a moment for personal reflection, a chance to connect with the past and pay homage to those who fought and fell in the line of duty.
As the day of remembrance draws to a close, you'll be transported back to Paris, carrying with you the indelible memories of a journey through the hallowed grounds of Normandy. This tour is not merely a visit to historical sites; it's a pilgrimage to honor the heroes who shaped the course of history.

Located between Utah & Omaha beaches, this prominent position along the coast of Normandy, was a focal point of the amphibious assault by U.S. forces during the early morning hours of D-Day, 6 June 1944.
Here, Lt. Col. James E. Rudder, commanding the 2nd Ranger Battalion, received the mission to land at 6:30 a.m., scale the 100 foot cliffs, and disable the German positions. Lt. Col. Max F. Schneider’s 5th Ranger Battalion would follow and reinforce them. The battle was rough, as the Point du Hoc had been built as a key point of the Atlantic Wall by the Germans – it was the highest point between Utah beach and Omaha beach and provided a great observation spot to notice any unfriendly arrivals from the sea.Read moreRead less -
